The third platform is Entomology. It will be packed with a fair number of innovations and will research on the transmission-blocking ability of the antimalarial drugs on the parasites, either from human to mosquito at the gametocyte stage, or from mosquito to human at the ookinete stage.

These three (3) phases will be supported across-board by the WPs in charge of Data Management and Analysis (WP5), Capacity Building (WP6), and Networking and Dissemination (WP7). All these activities and implementation efforts will be ongoing under the supervision of the Scientific Leadership and Coordination WPs (WP1 and WP8).
