The overall aim of the ASAAP Project is to adapt existing, efficacious medicines for treatment of malaria in African children by testing the efficacy, safety, tolerability, and transmission-blocking activity of an artemisinin-based triple therapy with AL and AP (AL+AP).

ASAAP is structured into 8 work packages covering five projects articulated around this multicentre clinical trial.
